Majors Welcome Back Starling Joseph Ahead of 2026 Home Opener
The London Majors are pleased to announce the signing of veteran outfielder Starling Joseph ahead of the club’s 2026 home opener.
Joseph returns to the Majors for the first time since 2024 and will begin his fourth season with the club. The right-handed hitting outfielder from San Pedro de Macorís has been one of the most productive bats in franchise history, appearing in 146 career games while recording 32 home runs, 136 RBI, and a lifetime .305 batting average.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound outfielder last suited up for London in 2024, when he batted .364 with five home runs and 27 RBI. Joseph was also a key contributor to the Majors’ 2022 championship team and has delivered in several important moments throughout his time in London.
Before joining the Majors, Joseph spent five seasons in the Texas Rangers organization from 2015 to 2020.
“We’re excited to welcome back Star to our club as a player who helped guide our team to a championship in 2022,” said field manager Roop Chanderdat. “Star has been a fan favourite in London and has played in some big, important games for us. He’ll bring energy and some real pop to our lineup.”
Joseph is expected to be in the lineup as the Majors open the 2026 season at home.
