Majors Take Victory Heading Into The All-Star Game

The London Majors extended their current win streak to three games with a 3-2 win over the Brantford Red Sox on Friday night at Arnold Anderson Field in Brantford.

London starter Jose Arias picked up his fourth win of the season, holding the Red Sox hitters to just one run on four hits in his six innings on the mound.

Sklylar Janisse came on in relief of Arias to pitch the seventh and eighth innings before Jonathan Henry struck out the side in the ninth inning to preserve the 3-2 win and earn his second save of the 2024 season.

Brantford starter Ricardo Alvarez Delugo took the loss.

Ty Mosher led the offensive attack for London going three-for-three. Kaiden Cardoso once again had a strong night at the plate going two-for-three with two walks and a run scored. Cardoso improved his batting average to .379 which has him in second place among IBL hitters behind Spencer Marcus of the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers.

Gibson Krzeminski, Byron Reichstein, Eduardo De Oleo and Victor Plaz contributed one hit each to the Majors nine-hit attack.
