Majors Sign Speedy Outfielder Jordan Lewis
The London Majors have announced the signing of outfielder Jordan Lewis ahead of the remainder of the 2026 Canadian Baseball League season.
A native of Brampton, Ont., Lewis joins the Majors following an outstanding graduate season at the University of Fort Lauderdale in 2026. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound right-handed hitter batted .340 in 45 games, collecting seven home runs, 35 RBIs, 10 doubles, four triples and an impressive 44 stolen bases.
Prior to his graduate campaign, Lewis starred at Florida National University (NAIA), where he put together one of the top offensive seasons in the program in 2024. He hit .379 with eight home runs, 46 RBIs and 40 stolen bases while posting a .487 on-base percentage and a 1.086 OPS.
"We're excited to add Jordan to our club," said Majors Field Manager Roop Chanderdat. "He's a quality right-handed bat who gives us added depth in the outfield and creates some favourable matchup opportunities. Jordan has proven throughout his collegiate career that he can impact the game in a variety of ways. He covers a lot of ground defensively, puts pressure on opposing teams with his speed on the bases and has shown he can drive the baseball with some power as well. We believe he'll be a valuable addition to our roster."
Lewis is expected to join the Majors immediately.
