Majors Sign Reliever Pitcher Kade Douglas
The London Majors are pleased to announce the signing of right-handed relief pitcher Kade Douglas for the upcoming CBL season.
Douglas, 23, joins the Majors following the completion of his collegiate career at Colorado State–Pueblo. The Moose Jaw, Sask. native impressed last summer in the Northwoods League with the Wausau Woodchucks, going 2–3 with a 4.65 ERA over 21 appearances, striking out 29 batters in 31 innings of work. Standing 6-foot-2 and 165 pounds, Douglas brings a projectable frame and a strong pitching foundation to London’s bullpen.
He is no stranger to Canadian summer collegiate baseball, previously suiting up for both the Regina Red Sox (2022–2024) and the Victoria HarbourCats (2024) in the WCBL and West Coast League, respectively. Baseball also runs deep in the family. Kade is the son of longtime collegiate and WCBL coach Scotty Douglas, who guided the Regina Red Sox to a WCBL East Division Pennant and a trip to the league semifinals. Coach Douglas also served with the Red Sox during the 2006 and 2007 seasons.
"Kade is a tall right-hander who really knows how to pitch,” said Majors field manager Roop Chanderdat. “He mixes in a good breaking ball and changeup with a plus fastball that sits in the low 90s. He spins the ball well, and we believe he has the tools to become a reliable arm out of our bullpen.”
The Majors welcome Kade Douglas to London and look forward to his contributions both on and off the field this season.
