Majors Sign Local Product Adam Thuss for 2026 Season

The London Majors are pleased to announce the signing of local product Adam Thuss for the upcoming 2026 season.

A native of Strathroy, Ontario, Thuss joins the Majors following two seasons at Kellogg Community College (2024–2025) where he established himself as a versatile and reliable offensive contributor. Over 81 career games with the Bruins, the right-handed hitter compiled a .304 batting average, belting six home runs while driving in 53 RBIs. Thuss also demonstrated strong plate discipline, posting a .433 on-base percentage and a .952 OPS during his junior college career.

The 5-foot-8, 150-pound utility player provides valuable defensive flexibility for the Majors roster. Thuss is expected to serve as the club’s third catcher while also contributing around the diamond, with experience at second base, third base, and both corner outfield positions.

In his final season at Kellogg in 2025, Thuss delivered one of his most productive campaigns, batting .323 with one home run and 31 RBIs while recording a .429 on-base percentage across 48 games. His strong contact ability was highlighted by just 22 strikeouts on the season.

Prior to his junior college career, Thuss developed through the Great Lakes Canadians program, one of Ontario’s top developmental organizations.

“We’re really excited to add Adam to our team,” said Majors Field Manager Roop Chanderdat. “He’s a local player who gives us some great versatility and depth across the diamond. We’re looking forward to watching him grow with our club, and he’s the kind of player our fans can really get to know and support. We see Adam being an important piece for us this season, and we believe there’s a lot of potential there for him to become a very productive player as he continues to develop.”

Thuss will join the Majors roster for the 2026 Canadian Baseball League season, bringing energy, versatility, and another strong local connection to the London lineup.
