Majors get 3rd victory of the weekend

With a sweep of the weekend on the line, the Majors welcomed in the Brantford Red Sox. The Majors would go down 1-0 early on but would come back and win 14-4 on a warm afternoon.


Pedro De Los Santos went to the mound looking for his first win of the season. Pedro would go 6 innings total with 3 earned runs while also striking out 4. De Los Santos also notched IBL strikeout 200 in the 5th inning while getting his first win on the season. Bo Lewington would come in for the 7th inning, pitching on back-to-back days pitching only the inning while striking out 1. The Majors would also have Jaryd Lund and Fernando Fernandez pitch in the outing going a combined 2 innings, and getting 1 strikeout.  


The Majors' offence would get things started in the second inning getting 3 runs on a double by Jakob Newton and an error by the Red Sox catcher that lead to the third run. The Majors would score 3 runs in the 5th, 6th and 8th that included back-to-back home runs by Cleveland Brownlee and Robert Mullen. Phil Whelan would also have a career milestone in this game getting his first career IBL home run.
