The London Majors fought hard throughout the game, but after Yordan Manduley crushed the third pitch of the game over the left field fence, the Kitchener Panthers came away with a 6-4 win at Labatt Memorial Park Friday night.

London scored their four runs on seven hits. Eduardo De Oleo had two hits, including a towering home run to centre field in the third inning that made the score 4-2 for the Panthers at that point. Brad Verhoeven and Ken Suji had two hits and one RBI each. Francisco Fajardo had a single and an RBI.

Travis Keys took the loss, allowing four runs on seven hits in his six innings of work. Nate Bennett, Alex Springer and Jaryd Lund pitched one inning each in relief of Keys.

The London Majors will be in action Saturday afternoon, 2 P.M. at Arnold Anderson Stadium in Brantford. The Brantford Red Sox will complete the back-to-back when they visit Labatt Memorial Park Sunday afternoon. The first pitch is 4 P.M.
