Majors Announce Double Header versus Jet Box
LONDON - The London Majors are once again pleased to announce the annual double header exhibition game vs The Michigan Jet Box. The event will take place on April 27th starting at 1:05pm at beautiful Labatt Park.
The Jet Box Baseball club was established in 1969 in Detroit Michigan. Last season the Majors played a single game against the Jet Box as the Majors opened the season the next day in Brantford. This year the game will take place 14 days before the season opener against Hamilton on May 10th.
The Jet Box last season won the Roy Hobbs World Series. Roy Hobbs Baseball is for more than 600 teams across the USA, Canada, the Caribbean and in Europe, Roy Hobbs Baseball’s signature event is its annual World Series, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in October/November 2018 in Fort Myers/Lee County, Florida, at the spring training homes of the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox and historic Terry Park, site of MLB spring training from 1925 through 1987.
The London Majors are a member of Ontario's most elite baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League. The 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
