Majors add Right handed Pitcher

The London Majors are pleased to announce the signing of right-handed pitcher Daniel Orfaly ahead of the stretch run of the 2026 Canadian Baseball League season.

Orfaly joins the Majors after a standout collegiate career at the University of British Columbia, where he pitched from 2022-26. Over four seasons with the Thunderbirds, the White Rock, B.C., product compiled a 15-7 record with a 4.91 ERA across 56 appearances, including 39 starts.

The 6-foot, 180-pound right-hander logged 227.1 career innings, striking out 190 batters while issuing 100 walks. He finished his collegiate career with a 7.52 strikeouts-per-nine innings rate and a 3.96 walks-per-nine mark.

During the 2026 season, Orfaly posted a 3-3 record with a 4.78 ERA in 14 appearances (11 starts). He struck out 51 batters and walked just 22 over 52.2 innings, allowing only 8.72 hits per nine innings while recording a 1.39 WHIP.

"We're really excited to add Daniel to our bullpen and provide some valuable depth, especially from the right side with a left-handed dominant staff," said Majors Field Manager Roop Chanderdat. "Daniel does a great job of keeping hitters off balance and consistently pounds the strike zone. He'll be a perfect depth piece for our club as the standings tighten and the schedule becomes even more demanding heading into August."

Orfaly adds another quality arm to the London pitching staff as the Majors continue their push toward the postseason.

The London Majors welcome Daniel and his family to the organization and look forward to seeing him take the mound at Labatt Park this season.
