Majors add international Experience

The London Majors are pleased to announce the signing of Victoria, British Columbia native Alex Hendra-Brown. The 6’1” outfielder joins the Majors after playing the 2019 season in Sweden with the Leksand Lumberjacks in the Eliteserien. Last year Hendra-Brown hit for .333. Brown also spent time in the Western Canadian Baseball League with the Moose Jaw Miller Express in 2018 where he had 23 RBIs in 32 games.

When asked about the 2020 season the 26-year-old had this to say about his first year in blue pinstripes “It’s an honour to have a chance to play for a historic organization like the Majors under coach Roop. It’s been a solid off-season of training and I’ve been hearing great things about Labatt Park and the city of London. I look forward to competing and chasing for the IBL title.

Roop Chanderdat (Co-Owner, General Manager & Field Manager) was asked about the newest outfielder. “Alex brings some international experience to our ball club having played in Sweden and Australia”. “He is a very hardworking player that had a very good collegiate career.” “I am looking forward to coaching Alex this summer”.
