Majors add former Angels prospect Goff

The London Majors are pleased to announce the signing of right-handed pitcher Julio Goff.

Originally from the city of David in Panama, Goff signed with the Los Angeles Angels in 2018 where he amassed 44 innings with 47 strikeouts. After spending time in the Dominican Summer League and Arizona League, the 5’10” pitcher joined the Inland Empire 66ers of the California League (Single A Affiliate Angeles) where he pitched 206 innings over the last 2 seasons. During his time on the west coast, Goff had 249 strikeouts while starting in 17 games.

Julio Goff pitched for Latin America in 2012 at the Little League World Series where he pitched and played 3rd base for the team. Goff was teammates with Majors pitcher Edisson Gonzalez during the LLBWS.

The London Majors are a member of Canada’s top baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League. In 2021 the London Majors won the IBL Jack & Lynn Dominico Trophy. The 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world. The league was established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
