Local Pitcher joins Majors

The London Majors are happy to announce the signing of a local right-handed pitcher Jordan Spring.

A graduate of H.B Beal who is currently attending Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, LA where he has made 4 appearances this season so far. Jordan has a 9.00 K/9 this season. Prior to joining the Cavaliers, Spring was with the Great Lakes Canadians and attended the Blue Jays Academy in 2019.

Another local talent, Jordan explains how excited he is to join the Majors, "I am looking forward to suiting up for my hometown Majors. This is a huge thrill and I can't wait to play in front of the London fans at Labatt Park."

Majors manager Roop Chanderdat described the impact of a young pitcher joining a championship roster while developing local talent“Jordan is a young player who will get a chance to be part of the Majors team and learn the “ropes” from our veteran pitchers, I am looking forward to coaching Jordan and continue to build on his development as a player”

The London Majors are a member of Canada’s top baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League. In 2021 the London Majors won the IBL Jack & Lynn Dominico Trophy. The 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
