He ranked second on the team in batting average, first in home runs and RBI, and tied for first in walks (28), anchoring the middle of the Thunderbirds’ lineup.
Following the collegiate season, Lenihan continued to impress in summer ball. “We’re extremely excited to welcome Trent to our team," said Majors Field Manager Roop Chanderdat. "He’s a guy who will add protection in the heart of our order, and thump with strong extra-base power and quickness. He’s another player who fits the identity of our team, and that’s his exceptional ability to work counts and put the bat on the ball. We see him as a very important piece to our team this season.”
With his proven track record at the collegiate and summer league levels, Lenihan adds a powerful and disciplined bat to the Majors lineup as the club looks ahead to an exciting 2026 campaign.
