Power Bat re-joins Majors

The London Majors are pleased to announce the signing of infielder Josh Williams.

Another former Major returns to the Forest City after starting the season with the Welland Jackfish. Williams has returned to baseball after 2 years off after suffering a leg injury at Labatt Park in July 2021 vs the Kitchener Panthers. During his 24 games with the Majors, the Toronto native had 15 RBIs with 22 hits and 2 home runs. Williams brings another power bat to the lineup who is proud to play in front of the Majors fan base after being a part of the 2021 championship.

The London Majors are a member of Canada’s top baseball league, the Intercounty Baseball League. In 2021 the London Majors won the IBL Jack & Lynn Dominico Trophy. The 100-year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world. The league was established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
