The London Majors have signed their first Japanese player ever. Toshi (Kozo) Sasa has signed to play with the Majors for the 2008 season. Kozo resides in Osaka Japan and will come to London in April for sring training.
Sasa is 6'0", 195 lbs. and 27 years old. Kozo is a versatile player that can play both the infield and outfield.
In 2003 at Indian Hills Community College Kazo batted 0.338 with 53 hits, 37 RBI and 13 doubles. That year Indian Hills went to the JUCO World Series and finished 4th place with Kazo batting 4th in the orde. In 2004 and 2005 Kozo attended Lewis Clark State College.
In 2006 Kozo Sasa played for the Fullerton Flyers in the Golden Baseball League. Kozo batted 0.271 for the Flyers who were managed by former MLB Player Garry Templeton.
We are excited to have Kozo on our team and his versatility will be a valuable asset to the Majors.
