Right hander Ted Kalnins, 28 years old, has resigned with the Majors for the 2007 season.  Ted is a former Ohio State University (OSU) pitcher and won 2 Big Ten Championships while at school.

Last season was Kalnins first with the Majors and first back pitching after several years of not playing baseball.   Ted is 6'7" and 245 lbs.  Ted worked very hard to get back into pitching shape and while this took most of the season he found his groove during the latter part of the season and playoffs.  With a season under his belt and hard work during the off season Kalnins should provide some depth out of the bullpen.
