Hiarali Garcia a hard throwing right handed pitcher has signed a contract to pitch for the London Majors for the 2006 season. This is a tremendous day for the Majors organization because we get to add a quality pitcher and a tremendous individual to our organization.
Garcia is a 6’, 205 lb. RHP who makes his home in Windsor, Ontario and is currently playing for Eastern Oklahoma State College. Garcia is a highly regarded prospect with a fastball ranging between 88 and 91 mph and 4 pitches which he consistently throws for strikes. He is an outstanding competitor and a hard worker. Hiarali has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at Kansas University for the 2006-07 academic year. Garcia compiled six wins in 14 starts for Eastern Oklahoma State College Mountaineers and struck out 72 batters in 78.1 innings of work last season. Hiarali played last summer for the Calgary Dawgs of the Western Major Baseball League.
