Rudy Vallejos is a 5’10” 195 lb. outfielder who makes his home in Ottawa but is currently playing with Graceland University in Iowa.  Rudy comes to the Majors on the recommendation of professional scouts who are impressed with his 6.6 sec. /60 yard speed, his strong arm from the outfield and his power at the plate.  Last summer Rudy played for the Calgary Dawgs in the Western Baseball League and played in 27 games and had 11 stolen bases and batted 0.232.  The Majors are expecting great things from Rudy this summer and based on our interviews with Rudy he appears to be a very respectful and hardworking young man.
