Peter Babcock a veteran IBL player has signed for the 2006 season.  This will be Peter's third season with the Majors and prior to that he played for the now defunct St. Thomas Storm.  Last season Babcock batted 0.403 which placed him 3rd in the league in hitting behind Ryan Sparato (0.416) from the Baycats and teammate Kyle Piwowarczyk (0.408).  In addition, Babcock had 15 doubles and 30 rbi.  These tremendous offensive stats earned him 1st Team All Star as a 3rd baseman.

Peter's veteran leadership and knowledge of the league will be valuable to the Majors and we look forward to another productive season from him.
