Alex Arango from Toronto has signed to play for the Majors this season.  Alex is 20 years old and bats and throws right. 

Played at Jefferson College , Hillsboro, MO, USA. Team ranked 6th in the nation among junior college with a record of 48-10. Played in the Region 16 Junior College All-Star Games. Arange is currently playing NCAA D2 in South Carolina.

This year his name appeared in the Collegiate USA Baseball Magazine between the names of short-stop prospects to watch.

In the summer of 2006, Arange was offered a free agent contract by the Saint Louis Cardinals.

Alex is dedicated to baseball and should be a good fit for the team.
