Left handed pitcher Aaron Boag has signed to play with the Majors for the 2009 season. Boag is 22 years old, 6'1" and 185 lbs.
Aaron is currently entering his senior season at Canisius College, in Buffalo NY. on a baseball scholarship. He is set to become the all time leader in appearances in Griffin's school history. He currently ranks 2nd on the all time leader list and 3rd in single season appearances for the Golden Griffs.
Aaron is also listed as one of the top players in Canisius College school history in the following categories: Most Wins, Most Saves, Most Appearances, Lowest Opponent's Batting Average, Fewest Walks Allowed/ 9 Innings, and Innings Pitched in a Season.
Aaron won an IBL Championship as a member of the Brantford Red Sox in 2006, where he was voted their "Rookie of the Year" by players and coaches. Last season Boag split time between Brantford and Hamilton.
