Jordi was signed as a free agent with the Colorado Rockies in 2005 . . . He played in the Dominican Summer League in 2005 and 2006 before being traded to the Tampa Bay Rays organization in 2007 . . . Jordi played low A ball in Hudson Valley, New York in 2008 and 2009; those same years he was invited to take part in major league spring training . . . He became a free agent in 2010 . . . This is Jordi's first season with the Majors . . .
