Game Summary:
The Majors got a big win tonight, 7-5, in Kitchener and improve to 7-1 on the season. The Majors continued to be aggressive on the base paths and got solid pitching from their starter. Tom Van Kasteren (2-0) allowed three runs and seven hits while striking out 10 batters and walking one in 7 1/3 innings. Josh Paler retired the final batter with the bases loaded in the 9th inning for the save. Kevin Virtue had3 hits and scored a run, Brad McElroy had 2 hits and drove in a pair of runs adn Rudy Vallejos had 3 stolen bases and scored 2 runs in the win. |
