Erick Perez (7-2) allowed one unearned run and one hit in a five-inning tune-up start prior to the playoffs. This was Eric's first start in several weeks since returning from Venezuela to attend his father's funeral.  Ted Kalnins followed Perez and pitched one inning of shutout ball.  Mark Voakes followed Kalnins and pitched 2 and 2/3 innings giving up 2 earned runs.  Jeff Roy pitched 1/3 of an inning giving up one earned run.  Both Kalnins and Voakes pitched the required innings to qualify for the playoffs.

Chuck Roberts went 3-4 at the plate for the Majors.
