London Majors 7, Stratford Nationals 6

Mike Ambrose belted a grand slam in the ninth inning to lift the London Majors to a 7-6 win over the Nationals. Ambrose also hit a solo homer in the sixth inning to help London rally from a 4-0 deficit.  Kyle Piwowarczyk went 2-4 with 2 rbi and Chuck Roberts went 3-4 and scored 2 runs. Ted Kalnins (1-0) worked a scoreless eighth inning for the win and Hiarali Garcia closed out the game with a scoreless ninth for his first save.  Starter Adam Arnold went 2 innings giving up 4 runs on 4 hits, striking out 5 walking 4 and hitting 2 batters.  Greg Shillinton followed Arnold and pitched 3 scoreless innings.  Junior Graterol followed Shillington and pitched 2 innings giving up 2 runs and striking out 4 batters.
