Game Summary:
The Majors lost 8-5 to Hamilton on Wednesday night. London starter Mike Mitro (2-2) gave up five runs on six hits in 2 1/3 innings, Greg Shillington followed giving up 3 runs all earned on 5 hits in 3 2/3 inning and Adam Arnold struck out seven batters in three hitless innings. Offensively the Majors had 13 hits, however they left 10 men on base including the bases loaded 2 times. Kevin Virtue went 2-4 with 2 rbi and Rudy Vallejos, Kyle Piwowarczyk, Brad McElroy, Chuck Roberts and Yorman Romero all had two hits. A bright spot was the defence which did not make an error during this game. |
